What is downwind?

Downwind foiling is pretty new, information is hard to find, and what makes it amazing is the people frothing to get out there.

This website aims to provide a few pointers to help people find runs, local crews, events and whatever else seems necessary to get people stoked.

We will pull together insights from the community, gear insights, event recaps, reviews. Whatever floats the boat, direct to your inbox.

The idea is to keep it small, casual and fun, a downwind village.

This is an evolving part of the sport, but here are some basics. Be safe. If you have not spent any time offshore then be warned the sea gets exponentially less safe the further you get from the beach! Also - practice using it in less serious context, Siri can be a real stroppy character sometimes..
